Title 42 › Chapter 122— NATIVE HAWAIIAN HEALTH CARE › § 11706
The Secretary can give grants or make contracts with Papa Ola Lokahi to help Native Hawaiian health. The money can pay to run and update the group's health care master plan; train the people listed in section 11705(c)(1)(B); study the diseases most common among Native Hawaiians (including behavioral, biomedical, epidemiological, and health services research); make an action plan for member groups; act as a clearinghouse for health data, research, and project funding; coordinate health programs; and manage special project funds. Money for these activities could be appropriated in whatever amounts were necessary for fiscal years 1993 through 2019.
