Title 42 › Chapter 7— SOCIAL SECURITY › Subchapter X— GRANTS TO STATES FOR AID TO BLIND › § 1204
The Secretary of Health and Human Services, after giving the State agency reasonable notice and a chance for a hearing, can find that an approved State plan for aid to the blind has serious problems. This can happen if the plan was changed to add a residence or citizenship rule that section 1202(b) bans, or if such a banned rule is being used in many cases with the agency aware, or if the State is not substantially following any part that section 1202(a) requires to be in the plan.
