Title 42 › Chapter 126— EQUAL OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES › § 12103
Defines two terms used in the chapter. "Auxiliary aids and services" means help that makes information available to people with hearing or vision loss, such as sign-language interpreters, readers or recorded texts, special equipment or devices, and similar supports. "State" means each of the several States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the Virgin Islands of the United States, the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
