Title 42 › Chapter 128— HYDROGEN RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, AND DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM › § 12407
Creates the Hydrogen Technical Advisory Panel to advise the Secretary on the chapter’s programs. The Secretary must pick the members. They come from industry, universities, professional groups, government labs, financial and environmental organizations, and others the Secretary finds qualified. Appointments had to be made within 90 days after November 15, 1990. The panel elects its own chair. Federal agencies must help the panel and give it needed information. The panel reviews program operations and studies the economic, technical, and environmental effects of hydrogen production and use. The Secretary must provide staff, money, and other support the panel needs.
