§14305 Information Gathering and Access

Summary

Requires certain battery makers and their agents to keep records and report information that the Administrator reasonably requires by rule to meet the chapter’s goals. It covers four types: regulated battery makers, rechargeable consumer product makers, mercury-battery makers, and authorized agents of those makers. The Administrator or an authorized representative may, at reasonable times and after showing credentials, look at and copy those records. The Administrator must keep any proprietary information in those records confidential.
