Title 42 › Chapter 8— LOW-INCOME HOUSING › Subchapter II–A— HOPE FOR PUBLIC HOUSING HOMEOWNERSHIP › § 1437aaa–8
Each year the Secretary must send Congress a report that covers five things. First, how many public housing units were sold, what kinds they were, and how much they cost. Second, the income, race, gender, whether they have children, and other traits of families who did or did not join homeownership programs under this subchapter. Third, the amount and kinds of financial help given under or with this subchapter. Fourth, how much of that help was needed to keep units affordable and to pay for future maintenance and repairs. Fifth, the Secretary’s recommendations for changes to the laws or rules.
