§1437bbb–9 Termination and Evaluation

Summary
A demonstration program must end at least 2 years and at most 5 years after it starts. Within 6 months after it ends, the Secretary must give Congress a final report that explains how well the program worked and lists any findings and suggestions for new laws.

(a)The demonstration program under this subchapter shall terminate not less than 2 and not more than 5 years after the date on which the demonstration program is commenced.
(b)Not later than 6 months after the termination of the demonstration program under this subchapter, the Secretary shall submit to the Congress a final report, which shall include—
(1)an evaluation 11 So in original. Probably should be followed by “of”. the effectiveness of the activities carried out under the demonstration program; and
(2)any findings and recommendations of the Secretary for any appropriate legislative action.
