Title 42 › Chapter 152— ENERGY INDEPENDENCE AND SECURITY › Subchapter II— ENERGY SECURITY THROUGH INCREASED PRODUCTION OF BIOFUELS › Part B— Biofuels Research and Development › § 17033
The Secretary, working with the Agriculture Secretary, must set up a biofuels and biorefinery information center. The center must give people clear information on things like renewable fuel raw materials and the kinds of fuel they can make, processing methods, the systems for moving, blending, storing, and selling fuels, federal and state laws and incentives, research and new technologies, programs and resources, and who makes and uses renewable fuels now or might use them in the future. The center must keep its information up to date, explain production methods and how to start a biorefinery, and offer help through a toll-free phone number and a website. The Secretary must try to coordinate with other agencies to avoid repeating work. Money may be provided as needed to run the center.
