Title 42 › Chapter 152— ENERGY INDEPENDENCE AND SECURITY › Subchapter II— ENERGY SECURITY THROUGH INCREASED PRODUCTION OF BIOFUELS › Part C— Biofuels Infrastructure › § 17053
Each head of a federal agency must put at least one renewable fuel pump at every federal fleet fueling center they run in the United States by January 1, 2010. Department of Defense fueling centers that sell less than 100,000 gallons of fuel per year do not have to follow this rule. Money can be provided as needed to do this work. By October 31 of the first calendar year beginning after December 19, 2007, and by each October 31 after that, the President must send Congress a report on how this is going. The report must say how many federal fleet fueling centers have at least one renewable fuel pump and how many have none.
