The Commercial Director and the Federal Director, working with the Consortium, must do public outreach to tell people and groups about governmentwide information and services for high-performance green buildings. They must build and keep a national online clearinghouse that finds similar efforts and links to federal, state and local, private, and international resources. They must recommend education materials (including security and emergency benefits), give technical help and tools (especially for life-cycle costing and assessment), explain certification and commissioning steps, share research and advice through the Commercial Director, use other outreach methods as needed, and coordinate related activities.
