The Director of the Trade and Development Agency must create or support policies to seek and fund projects that use clean, efficient energy, promote those technologies—especially in countries that can cut large amounts of greenhouse gases—and hire experts to find and evaluate such projects. Each year the President must include in the Agency’s annual report a description of the steps taken to carry out these policies.
