Title 42 › Chapter 16— NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION › § 1862p–10
Colleges and universities that get National Science Foundation research support and had at least $25,000,000 in federal research grants in the most recent fiscal year must keep a public website about how they move research into products and must report the website’s URL to the National Science Foundation each year. The site must include contact info for tech-transfer staff, licensing and commercialization plans for researchers and industry, success stories and stats, technologies offered for licensing, and other helpful company-facing information. The National Science Foundation must run a public website that links to each school’s page. Schools do not have to post confidential, trade-secret, or proprietary information.
