§1869a Contracts for Precollege Science or Engineering Curriculum Development Activities; Inspection of Materials by Parent or Guardian

Summary

After August 9, 1975, the NSF Director must require that any grant for precollege science or engineering curriculum include in the recipient’s contracts and similar legal papers a clause saying all instructional materials (teacher manuals, films, tapes, and other supplements made or provided under the grant) must be available in the school district for parents or guardians to inspect if their children are in the program. The Director must also take necessary and feasible steps to add this clause to awards made on or before August 9, 1975 whenever possible.
