Title 42 › Chapter 163— RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT, COMPETITION, AND INNOVATION › Subchapter VI— MISCELLANEOUS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PROVISIONS › Part H— Energizing Technology Transfer › Subpart 1— national clean energy technology transfer programs › § 19303
The Secretary, working through the Chief Commercialization Officer named in section 16391(a), must help coordinate programs that move clean energy technologies into the marketplace across all energy sectors. That work includes sharing best practices, coordinating resources and cooperation, linking entrepreneurs and start-ups to Department programs, and creating measures to track impacts on technology development, U.S. competitiveness (including manufacturing), and entrepreneurs from under‑represented backgrounds. Congress authorized $3,000,000 per year for the Secretary to carry out these activities for each of fiscal years 2023 through 2027.
