Title 42 › Chapter 21G— PREGNANT WORKER FAIRNESS › § 2000gg–3
Within 1 year after December 29, 2022, the Commission must write and publish rules in an accessible format using the normal federal rulemaking process. The rules must give examples of reasonable accommodations for known limits caused by pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions. Within 6 months after those rules are issued, the Board must issue matching rules for the covered employees. The Board’s rules should be the same unless it gives a clear, stated reason why a change would better protect those workers.
