Energy produced at Commission production or experimental sites may be used by the Commission, transferred to other agencies, or sold to utilities at fair, nondiscriminatory prices. If electricity, its price is set by the agency that regulates electric rates. Sales must favor public bodies, cooperatives, and private utilities serving high‑cost, unserved areas. The Commission cannot sell energy commercially except what it produces while running its research or production facilities.
