Killing someone who is inspecting activities or facilities that the Commission licenses, or who is inspecting radioactive materials or "utilization facilities" under this law or other federal safety laws requiring licensing under sections 2133 or 2134(b), is a crime and must be punished under section 111 of title 18. Anyone who assaults, resists, blocks, frightens, or otherwise interferes with those inspectors while they are doing inspections, or because of their inspection work, must also be punished under section 111 of title 18.
