§2296b–4 Annual Uranium Purchase Reports

Summary

By January 1 each year, the owner or operator of any civilian nuclear power reactor must send a report to the Secretary through the Energy Information Administration’s Administrator about the previous fiscal year. The report must say, for any uranium or enriched uranium they bought or brought into the United States (directly or indirectly), where it came from and who sold it, and for any uranium enrichment services they bought, where those services came from and who sold them. The Secretary must give that information to Congress by March 1 each year.
