Congress may provide money to the Secretary, through the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as much as needed for each fiscal year 2001 through 2005. The funds are for collecting and supplying data to plan and evaluate programs under subchapter XXIV, and they are in addition to any other authorized funding for that purpose.
