Creates a National Information Center on Health Services Research and Health Care Technology inside the Library. The Center must gather, store, study, find, and share information about health services research, clinical practice guidelines, and health care technology, including reviews of that technology and related databases. The Center’s director must keep clinical practice guidelines in an electronic, easy-to-use form and make rules for which guidelines and technology reviews go in the database. The Secretary must make sure the Center’s work is coordinated with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
