The Secretary of Health, through the HRSA Administrator, can give grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements to eligible groups to develop, test, and share research, demonstration projects, and model curricula for health professional education. It covers cultural competency, prevention, public health, reducing health disparities, and working with people with disabilities, plus other related purposes the Secretary approves. The Secretary must work with organizations in section 293e and follow its sharing and evaluation rules. Funding was authorized for fiscal years 2010 through 2015.
