Agencies that get money under this part must keep the records the Commissioner requires. The records must show how much money they received, how it was spent, the total project cost, how much came from other sources, and any other papers needed for an audit. The Commissioner and the Comptroller General, or their authorized representatives, may examine any records or papers of those agencies that relate to the financial help.
