Title 42 › CHAPTER 6A — PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE › SUBCHAPTER XXIV — HIV HEALTH CARE SERVICES PROGRAM › Part C — Early Intervention Services › subpart ii — general provisions › § 300ff–66
The Secretary can, when a grantee asks, send supplies, equipment, services, and assign any Department of Health and Human Services officer or employee to the State to help provide early intervention services. If the Secretary does this, the grantee’s grant payment must be reduced by the cost of the staff and by the fair market value of the supplies, equipment, or services given. The Secretary must use the money taken from the grant to pay those expenses.
