Title 42 › CHAPTER 6A — PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE › SUBCHAPTER XIII — PREVENTIVE HEALTH MEASURES WITH RESPECT TO BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCERS › § 300n–4
The Secretary must set up yearly evaluations (done directly or by contract) of programs carried out under section 300k. The evaluations must check how well States follow sections 300k(a)(2) and 300n(c). They must also check each State that gets a grant under this subchapter for compliance with section 300l. For each State, the review must report the non‑Federal money the State put in for the prior fiscal year, say where those funds came from, and show how that amount compares to the Federal grant money for that year. No later than 1 year after April 20, 2007, and every year after, the Secretary must send a report to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the Senate Committee on Labor and Human Resources. The report must summarize the yearly evaluations and include any administrative or legislative recommendations the Secretary finds appropriate, including recommendations about State compliance with sections 300k(a)(2) and 300n(c).
