Title 42 › CHAPTER 6A — PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE › SUBCHAPTER XVIII — ADOLESCENT FAMILY LIFE DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS › § 300z–6
The Secretary of Health and Human Services must make sure federal programs that try to stop teen sexual activity and first or repeat teen pregnancies, and programs that care for pregnant teens, work together. The Secretary must get reports from project grantees about local, state, or federal rules that block service delivery; help states and local groups coordinate federal aid; check HHS programs for consistency and work with other agencies to suggest fixes; and give funding priority to projects that use coordinated grant applications or that offer full prevention and care services. Any grantee running a local demonstration project must coordinate its work with other grantees in the same area.
