§8905 Authorization of Appropriations

Summary

Gives $5,000,000 to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for fiscal year 1981 to set up the Task Force and develop the plan. The money stays available until it is spent. For the nine fiscal years after the year the final plan is submitted under section 8903(c)(3), funding to carry out the ten‑year program and implement the plan must be authorized each year by later authorization Acts. The total authorized for those nine years cannot exceed $45,000,000 unless a later authorization Act specifically refers to this paragraph to allow more.
