Agencies and departments that make or enforce rules under this chapter or the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act must act to stop illegal employment practices. They must write rules so no one is kept out of activities, sales, or jobs covered by these laws because of race, creed, color, national origin, or sex. Those rules should be like the ones in Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
