Title 43 › Chapter 47— RECLAMATION TITLE TRANSFER › § 2905
On the day an eligible facility is transferred, the United States cannot be sued for damages that come from anything related to that facility, except for harms caused by negligent acts by the United States or its agents or employees that happened before the transfer. Nothing here increases the United States’ liability beyond what is already in chapter 171 of title 28 (the Federal Tort Claims Act).
