Title 43 › Chapter 8A— GRAZING LANDS › Subchapter I— GENERALLY › § 315a
The Secretary of the Interior must protect, run, regulate, and improve any grazing districts created under section 315. The Secretary must make rules, set up services, make agreements with others, and take the steps needed to control who uses the land, keep the land and its resources from damage, and help the orderly use and development of the range. The Secretary can continue studying erosion and flood control and do work to protect and restore these areas using money made available for that purpose. Anyone who willfully breaks these rules after being told about them can be fined up to $500.
