Title 43 › Chapter 12— RECLAMATION AND IRRIGATION OF LANDS BY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT › Subchapter I— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 390h–31
The Secretary, working with the City of San Jose, California, and the Santa Clara Valley Water District, may help design, plan, and build recycled water treatment facilities. Federal funds can pay no more than 25 percent of a project's total cost. The Secretary must not use federal money for the facility's operation or maintenance. Up to $8,250,000 may be appropriated to carry out the project.
