Title 43 › Chapter 12— RECLAMATION AND IRRIGATION OF LANDS BY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT › Subchapter I— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 390h–7
The Secretary must study whether a full water reclamation and reuse system should be built for Southern Arizona, working with the State of Arizona and local and regional groups. Southern Arizona means the parts of Pima, Santa Cruz, and Pinal counties inside the Tucson Active Management Hydrologic Area. The federal government will pay no more than 50% of the study cost. The Secretary must send the study report to the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the House Committee on Natural Resources within four years after funds are appropriated under sections 390h to 390h–39.
