Title 43 › Chapter 12— RECLAMATION AND IRRIGATION OF LANDS BY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT › Subchapter I— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 390h–8
Allows the Secretary, working with the State of Colorado and local or regional groups, to study ways to reclaim Lake Cheraw’s water or to reduce pollution that could hurt groundwater or the Arkansas River. The federal share of the study costs may not be more than 50 percent. The Secretary must send the report to the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources and the House Committee on Natural Resources within two years after money is appropriated under sections 390h to 390h–39.
