Title 43 › Chapter 12— RECLAMATION AND IRRIGATION OF LANDS BY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT › Subchapter VI— WATER RIGHT APPLICATIONS AND LAND ENTRIES › § 432
Public land planned to be watered by a proposed irrigation project must be taken only under the homestead laws. Those claims must follow the limits, fees, and terms set by this Act. The homestead law rule that lets a person commute (buy the land instead of living on it) does not apply to these claims.
