Title 43 › Chapter 12— RECLAMATION AND IRRIGATION OF LANDS BY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT › Subchapter XVII— LEGISLATION APPLICABLE TO PARTICULAR PROJECTS GENERALLY › § 591a
Allows the Secretary of the Interior to let the irrigation districts, ditch companies, and water users in the Arrowrock Division of the Boise reclamation project who agreed to share operation and maintenance costs pay for repairs, resurfacing, improvements, and raising Arrowrock Dam in twenty annual installments. This prevents a big, one-year bill and keeps charges affordable, based on the Secretary’s final cost decision. The Secretary may also treat these costs as part of Arrowrock Dam construction charges under amendatory contracts allowed by subchapter X and have them paid the same way.
