Title 43 › CHAPTER 12B — COLORADO RIVER STORAGE PROJECT › § 620d–1
The Upper Colorado River Basin Fund must be repaid from the Colorado River Development Fund for money spent to make up for reduced power generation at Hoover Dam while storage units were being filled under the Glen Canyon Reservoir rules (27 Fed. Reg. 6851, July 19, 1962). Starting with fiscal year 1970, $500,000 each year must be moved from the Colorado River Development Fund to the Upper Colorado River Basin Fund instead of being used as section 618a(d) directs, until the repayment is finished. If any amount is still unpaid on June 1, 1987, the remainder must be transferred from the Lower Colorado River Basin Development Fund under section 1543(g).
