Title 43 › Chapter 12B— COLORADO RIVER STORAGE PROJECT › § 620g
The Secretary must plan, build, operate, and maintain public recreation sites and fish-and-wildlife facilities for the Colorado River storage project and related projects. These facilities must protect scenery, historic and archaeological places, and wildlife, and help make up for and improve conditions for fish and wildlife. The Secretary may get land and lease, transfer, swap, or give it to federal, state, or local governments to support public use. Money spent under this authority cannot be repaid or recovered.
