Title 43 › Chapter 22— RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND OTHER EASEMENTS IN PUBLIC LANDS › § 942–4
If a company named in the listed sections files a preliminary survey and map of its proposed route with the Secretary of the Interior, it has the right to file a final map and profile at any time within one year. During that one-year period, the lands crossed by the preliminary survey are treated as subject to the right of way described in section 942–3.
