§1107 Appropriations Chargeable for Printing and Binding of Documents or Reports

Summary

Sets who pays for printing and binding costs for reports from federal executive departments, independent agencies, or establishments that, before March 30, 1906, were paid from congressional or other appropriations. The agency that made the report must pay for getting it ready to print, like pictures, layout, and making printing plates. The rest of the printing and binding costs are split between Congress and the agencies based on how many copies each gets. Copies given out outside Congress or federal agencies are charged under other rules.
