Title 44 › Chapter 11— EXECUTIVE AND JUDICIARY PRINTING AND BINDING › § 1107
Charge the costs of printing and binding government reports that, before March 30, 1906, were paid from congressional or other funds as follows. The cost to get the work ready for printing (like illustrations, layout, and making printing plates) must be paid from the printing and binding fund of the agency that made the report. The remaining costs must be split between Congress’s printing fund and the printing funds of the executive departments or independent agencies based on how many copies each received, and costs for copies distributed in other ways are charged as provided elsewhere.
