Title 44 › Chapter 13— PARTICULAR REPORTS AND DOCUMENTS › § 1301
The Secretary of Agriculture must send an annual report in two separate parts. Part 1 covers the department's business and executive matters for the President and Congress. Part 2 contains reports from bureaus and special agents, along with illustrations chosen to interest and teach farmers, and a general summary of the department's operations. Besides the usual copies, print for part 1: 1,000 for the Senate, 2,000 for the House, and 3,000 for the Department. For part 2: 110,000 for the Senate, 360,000 for the House, and 30,000 for the Department. The Secretary must approve the illustrations, which are made under the Government Publishing Office director’s supervision and following the Joint Committee on Printing’s directions. Each part’s title must show it is a complete, stand‑alone report.
