Title 44 › Chapter 17— DISTRIBUTION AND SALE OF PUBLIC DOCUMENTS › § 1706
If someone asks before printing starts, the Government Publishing Office must give them up to 250 copies of a bill, report, or other document. The person asking must pay for the copies in advance, and making these private copies cannot slow down or interfere with government printing.
