Title 44 › Chapter 17— DISTRIBUTION AND SALE OF PUBLIC DOCUMENTS › § 1718
Print and give to the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., up to 25 bound copies of items requested by a congressional committee or any federal department, bureau, office, commission, or officer. These items include bound House and Senate documents and reports, bound House and Senate journals, public bills and resolutions, the U.S. Code and its supplements, and other government publications and maps printed under law. Confidential material, blank forms, and non‑public circular letters are not included. Also deliver as printed 10 unbound copies of each House document and report, 10 unbound copies of each Senate document and report, 10 copies of each private bill and resolution, and 50 copies of laws in slip form.
