Review how Congress’s records are managed and kept safe. Tell Congress and the Archivist of the United States what you find and give advice. By December 31, 1991, study and report to Congress on (1) how moving National Archives and Records Administration records out of Washington, D.C., would affect the care and keeping of Congress’s records, and (2) a five-year plan for managing and protecting those records. By December 31, 1995, update the five-year plan report and send it to Congress.
