Title 44 › Chapter 31— RECORDS MANAGEMENT BY FEDERAL AGENCIES › § 3102
Each federal agency head must run a continuing program to manage the agency’s records at low cost and with good efficiency. The program must control how records are created, used, and stored; post records of public interest online; work with the Archivist on standards, preservation, security, and disposal of temporary records; and follow the applicable record laws and rules.
