A set number of printed copies must be made for different kinds of bills and resolutions and sent to specific offices. Each public bill or joint resolution from either House must have 625 copies printed: 225 to the Senate document room, 15 to the Secretary of the Senate, and 385 to the House document room. Each Senate private bill, at introduction, when reported, and after passage, must have 300 copies printed: 170 to the Senate document room, 15 to the Secretary of the Senate, 100 to the House document room, and 10 to the Superintendent of Documents. Each House private bill at those stages must have 260 copies: 135 to the Senate document room, 15 to the Secretary of the Senate, 100 to the House document room, and 10 to the Superintendent of Documents. All bills and resolutions must be printed in bill form. They are printed only when sent to a committee, when a committee reports them favorably, and after passage in either House, unless either House orders otherwise. Concurrent and simple resolutions, when reported and after passage, must have 260 copies printed (unless ordered otherwise) and be distributed: 135 to the Senate document room, 15 to the Secretary of the Senate, 100 to the House document room, and 10 to the Superintendent of Documents.
