Title 44 › Chapter 41— ACCESS TO FEDERAL ELECTRONIC INFORMATION › § 7245
An agency head may only change or remove a report that Congress required on the reports online portal if two things happen: the agency head talks with every committee or subcommittee that should get the report (or, if no specific committee is named, with the committees that oversee the agency after consulting the Speaker of the House and the President pro tempore of the Senate), and Congress passes a joint resolution allowing the change or removal. The agency head can still make small technical edits, take down a report that was posted by mistake, or withhold material under section 7246.
