Title 45 › Chapter 18— MILWAUKEE RAILROAD RESTRUCTURING › § 911
Employees who take a separation allowance from the Milwaukee Railroad under the section 908 employee protection agreement can have the Board pay for training for a new career. Training must begin within two years after the worker’s separation. The Board decides eligibility after an application. No assistance is available after April 1, 1984. "Expenses" means actual costs for room, board, tuition, fees, or school materials up to $3,000. "Qualified institution" means a school approved for Veterans’ Administration payment under chapter 36 of title 38, or a state‑accredited school that has existed at least two years.
