§15105 National Boating Safety Advisory Committee

Summary

Creates a National Boating Safety Advisory Committee to give advice to the Secretary about national boating safety. The Committee has 21 members chosen by the Secretary under the rules in this law and section 15109, and each member must have knowledge and experience related to the Committee’s work. The members are split into three groups of seven: state boating safety officials, recreational boat and equipment manufacturers, and the general public or recreational boating organizations — and at least five of the last seven must be from national recreational boating organizations.
