Title 47 › Chapter 13— PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS AND ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM AUCTIONS › Subchapter II— GOVERNANCE OF PUBLIC SAFETY SPECTRUM › § 1425
The First Responder Network Authority must set up a permanent public safety advisory committee to help it do its work. It can also create other permanent or temporary committees, panels, or councils if it thinks they are needed. The Authority must pick agents, consultants, or experts in a fair, clear, and unbiased way. Those hires can include a program manager to help deploy and run the nationwide public safety broadband network described in subsections (b) and (c) of section 1426. If a choice meets the fairness rules, that choice is final and must be accepted.
