§334 Limitation on Revision of Equal Employment Opportunity Regulations

Summary

The Commission must not change the equal employment rules that applied to TV broadcast station licensees and permittees on September 1, 1992 (47 C.F.R. 73.2080), or the forms those stations use to report employment data, except where this law allows changes. The Commission must add a required midterm review of a station’s hiring practices and must tell a station what recruitment improvements are needed after that review. The Commission may also make only small technical or clerical edits to those rules to reflect changes in technology, wording, or its own organization.
