Title 47 › Chapter 5— WIRE OR RADIO COMMUNICATION › Subchapter V— PENAL PROVISIONS; FORFEITURES › § 501
If a person knowingly and on purpose breaks, causes, allows, or fails to do something that this chapter forbids or requires, and no other penalty is listed, they can be convicted and punished. On conviction they can get a fine up to $10,000, up to one year in jail, or both. If the person has already been convicted once under this rule before, a later conviction can bring a fine up to $10,000, up to two years in jail, or both.
